So the girl says you know I,M not addicted I can go days without smoking. So I say why do you smoke, it's so hard to stay quit? the boyfriend answers because she sees me light up otherwise she wouldn't smoke. And she's standing there smiling. Well I say good luck with your quit do it one day at a time. :|hahahaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaa My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 48 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 734 Amount Saved: $192 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 11 Mins: 5 Seconds: 10

Hi I,m still smoke free, the neighbour's kid was having a teenager party tonight I was sitting outside and I could smell the cigarette smoke I couldn't see them but I sure could smell it, it really bothered me and I also felt sorry for those kids, I had to go back in the house and sweat it out. :)Marie My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 40 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 613 Amount Saved: $160 Life Gained: Days: 5 Hrs: 9 Mins: 29 Seconds: 41

Hello Andy, Well first of all,I am so glad its not just me that is feeling this way around 50 days. Its been pretty tough, and i know what you mean, i just WANTED to smoke. What is that all about? Well done to you for NOT smoking. Before i used to CRAVE cigarettes, but I didnt want to smoke, I wanted to stick to my quit. Now I am WANTING to smoke, for no other reason than I felt like smoking. Not painful cravings, I just wanted it. Is this normal I was thinking? If you are going through the same thing maybe it is completely normal. Thanks Andy thats good to know its not just me. DUCKIE WHERE ARE U? Congrats to you for a big 60 days also Sully! I remember when I first quit 60 days seemed like forever people had been quit! I am glad I am not the only one that feels like smoking. It helps me to know that other people feel the same way. I know its not just me (or it isnt just me going without or suffering, many of us are doing it - so no excuses) thanks and well done for the 60 days! Mama you are doing SO well on your quit! Esp with everything that you have been through, I am so proud of you for going through that clear headed. Congratulations - you are right i need to go backwards and learn to start protecting my quit again. I stopped doing that, it stopped being important to me. So not long and you will be off the patches completely? You are doing so well - if you didnt smoke through what you went through you will never smoke.I know you can do it! Marie I cant say much about junkie thinking my head appears to have gone into consistent junkie thinking at weekends of late. I was consistently complaining that I want to smoke... I moaned about it all weekend.. ahh just the one - how stupid huh? Fortunately my boyfriend said no way. It made him not want to be a casual smoker either which was handy. Darcy I am at the same stage as you - I dont know why this is happening either? ANYWAY JUNE BUGS - IT IS NOW AUGUST - WE QUIT IN JUNE - HOW GREAT IS THAT?? THE WHOLE OF JULY AS NON SMOKERS. LETS SEE US DO THE WHOLE OF AUGUST! Congrats on your 50 days Mama! I am very proud of you!! Stick with it, i found week around the 50 days particularly difficult. However, I do think that is now past, and things are back on track again. I just got back from a 4 day festival. Today I celebrate 8 weeks and I didnt feel like smoking over this festival, even though we were with people who were smoking. It was cool. That was my final test before my trip to Cyprus. I will most definately go to Cyprus as a non smoker - its only a 4.5 hour flight - but at least it means that this time we can be on the flight and i wont consistently be thinking about smoking, as soon as I get off the plane smoking again.. Well done to all the June Bugs - we are doing well! Good to see so many of us still around!
