Mama I hope you are on the IM with Rusty. All of this passes. You will feel different tomorrow and from my experience and the experiences shared here by others, if you smoke you will only feel worse. You will be angry at yourself and you will be back in the physical dependant stage of your quit. You will be back at hell week. Perhaps if you found a place to yell and scream and get some of the energy that is in you out you would be more able to refocus on the loving and kind and very healthy gift you are giving yourself by not smoking. Just think that for the last 16 days you have created this loving intervention in order to create a new and healthy you. Find your strength, stay quit. MAMA You have a centre you just don't see it right not. Keep talking here and vent all this out. Let it happen. Keep keying all this into your computer take as long as you want and just let it go. Are you feeling better Mama? I know that the depression can be very intense at times. Just embrace how you feel and be thankful that you don't smoke at the same time. It should just show us what a horrible addiction smoking really is. Feel your feelings, become familiar with all the feelings that we numbed with smoke. soon we will feel allllll better. Awesome 16 days, 665 cigs not smoked?? Hey mama,I know what your going through.Been there,My first quit many moons ago.I felt like I was literally going to die.If smoking didnt kill me ,then the depression associated with quitting would. So I talked to my Dr. and she said it was normal to have those feelings & put me on Anti-depressants which was a god send for me.I dont know if your taking anything or not,but I would talk to your Dr. and someone thats supportive of your quit.Hang in there wer'e here 4 ya!Tony My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 4 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 116 Amount Saved: $29.6 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 16 Mins: 26 Seconds: 48

Mama, please don't smoke. Please don't give up this very important thing you are doing for yourself. Yes, it is hard. You are going through some tough times right now. But these tough times do pass. I know you don't want to throw away the hard work you've done for the past 16 days. I know it's raining there and you can't get out. You need to get rid of those cigarettes of your daughters. She can buy some more. But you don't need them tempting you right now. If you can get on the SSC IM, I will be happy to join you there.
