Yesterday was so stressful with real life (not so much with the quitting smoking) that i seriously almost thought about being a smoker again. Yesterday I just thought, what is the point? I weighed it up, and thought well smoking wont take away these problems. They will just make it worse Its about time that i dealt with things head on, instead of hiding behind a cigarette Smoking helps nothing. In a few days the problem might be resolved, but I would still be a smoker, and have to go back to day one again. You know how it is, you are so upset, so angry that you think, I am going to smoke - almost to spite yourself. But I didnt. I am proud of that. I have turned a corner. Thank you for your support at this site. It has made all the difference in my quit. Without this site, I would not be so confident that i will succeed, I am sure there will be days like yesterday to tempt me in the future.. but if i am here, i am sure that it will no longer have power over me. Two weeks - yay I am proud of that. yeaaaa niks, I know what you mean because right now, I have to go to the dentist and that has made me think about smoking. Just because I am very afraid of the dentist. But what good would smoking do? It wouldn't make the tooth quit hurting would it? That's what I keep telling myself.\ I also think about that non-smokers have these problems too and they don't smoke about it. I know that smoking would not make me any less scared. 2 weeks is awesome Cuddles It's better to be a non-smoker with an occasional desire for a cig than a smoker with a constant desire to quit......
