Nicotine, which causes physical addiction, withdrawals usually take around 3 days to get past. The other chemicals (4,000) take longer to get out of your system. After the physical withdraws are over, it's all mental. You've smoked for a long time. It is only natural for you to have memories of smoking. When a thought pops into your head use your coping skills that you've learned (quit program tools to the left of your screen). Eventually, the longer you go without a smoke, the memories will start to fade. At four months I do not have craves. I do however still have 'thoughts/memories'. I probably think about smoking once every 2 to 3 days now. But it is a fleeting thought. Or it is the 'subject of smoking' ... like right now while I am typing this to you.
Not smoking makes my life so much better. Keep at it. You are doing great. Don't give in.
You are not giving up anything by quitting. You are GIVING yourself the gift of life and freedom. Embrace it and don't let go.
Fondly,
Free
