LOl Butterfly Swimmer not defensive , just don't want quit buddies to get the wrong idea. I don't ever mention it to them, they ask, especially my girlfriend, all I say is, there is a group meeting given here by gov (payed for by the lawsuit against tobacco co here is Qc) free of charge and suggest she goes. OMG Healer, you're right, I'm not helping at all.... they feel it and avoid mentionning my quit, they feel agressed in a way. They never ask, how long as it been or how are you doing. When they light a cig I just move away because of the smell and I guess it hurts their feelings, geez this is so complicated I will turn this around to a positive situation, I just have to figure out how to do it. Thanks for your post.
Free you got it it's simply repulsive, but since there's nothing I can do about it... I talked to my friend today and told her that when I move away from the smoke it's nothing against her and she understands, so that's taken care of. I had a bad day today , nothing to do with cigs, just a blah day and also blah evening at work. Glad to be home. Thanks for posting Free

can you believe that we used to stink like this? and unfortunately we will keep smelling like this because our friends and family keep doing it.And unfortunately we can't convince them to stop smoking!
do you think you would do it if someone just kept telling you even though you didn't want to quit? no way...
just stay focused on what you're doing. We are lots in here...and lots are coming. Make sure you inform everyone that smokes about how good you feel... there's nothing more you can do now!!!
