It's better to be a non-smoker with an occasional desire for a cig than a smoker with a constant desire to quit......

Hey Phil,
I had a really bad urge to relapse at 68 days. In fact I went to the doc and got wellbutrin. I had a massive multiple day crave but didn't really want to smoke. That passed. Didn't take the meds long as it interfered with sleep. Consider how long you smoked and you realize it will take a few months to be really comfortable again. This is such a bad addiction. But quitting is very doablde. And it does get easier and easier as time goes by.
Nope, I don't get craves anymore. I simply would NEVER buy a pack of cigarettes again......just as I would never buy a jock strap.....I have no need for one....period, end of story. Lady says it takes six months and that sounds about right.
Congratulations on making one of the best decisions of your life and 70 days is awesome. Stay close and post often.
Janet

Crikey mates.............time sure flies when you're having fun. .....451 days already. I'm darn close to the 500 club!!!! Who would have thunk it.
Love the freedom from addiction, breathing, the ability to excercise, laugh without choking, AND tooting my horn. One day at a time newbies......the "discomfort" is well worth becoming smoke free.
NOPERS,
Janet (aka Hot Stats) ;)
