Well, the necklace is finished! I changed my mind about it though... instead of blue and tan hemp and one lone purple bead as originally planned, the necklace has purple and tan hemp and it DOES have NOPE in it. I thought about it and how could an anniversary present that I make for myself on my one year anniversary of quitting smoking NOT represent quitting? So, right in the middle, it says NOPE. There are also 2 butterfly beads (to represent my name here), and the dolphin bead to represent my love of dolphins, and of course, the purple hemp which is my favorite color. Here are some pictures if you'd like to see what it looks like. Thank you everyone! Phil, I was completely floored when I saw this! I wasn't expecting this for a few more days! Thank you! Cyberduke, thank you friend! Josie and the rest of the support staff, thank you for all you do around here! As for my reward, well, I'm afraid it has to be the cheap/free kind. But, I've already got it planned out. I'm going out that night, Saturday night, which I'm really looking forward to, and I'll also give myself a pedicure with some pedicure stuff I bought for a previous reward and just relax and take it easy. Thanks for asking. :) Free, thank you. You've always been one I've had my eye on. You're a great quitter and an awesome supporter! Thanks for all you do! QuitMeister, one year feels absolutely fantastic! Better than I could have ever imagined. You'll get there too! CobenFan, thank you very much! what do ya say we get the party started????? Any excuse for a party is a good one. Dutch, I'm waiting in suspense for that photo!!!! Way to keep me guessing! :) Rachel, thank you! MissyFit, thank you for always being there. You were always there for me and never seemed to give up on me throughout my rough time in the beginning. Thanks. Martha, thank you. See above for the reward. Nothing fancy, but I know that they don't have to be. Windy, thank you so much. That is what makes this site work so well... there are people from all walks of the quit who come together to help one another. I just love this site so much! Thank you for being there for the next generation of quitters! ItsIronic, thank you for everything! Ron, thank you! N2k, what can I say???? I'm speechless (for once!) Thanks for always being a great friend! I was trying to guess who would start this and how soon... never would have guessed Phil or 3 days early! Oh, by the way, you have an email waiting for you! ;) Patches, thank you for believing in me... even when I didn't believe in myself. Mc, my fellow graduate! How are you darling??? I always love your way with the cheeziness! You always put a smile on my face! Thank you! I don't have any cha cha shoes... but I've got salsa shoes... Will that work

I am just so grateful for all of you... my quit family! Well, it looks like my one year reward was not satisfactory to a certain someone. I will not name any names (N2k)... This person said that my one year reward should be something magnificent... something really special and something that will last forever... and she's right! Therefore, I have decided to add to my one year celebration, a necklace that I am making for myself. I make hemp jewelry, so this necklace is going to represent everything about me. It's going to have purple in it (my favorite color), a dolphin bead (I'm a HUGE Dolphin freak!), two of my favorite hobbies (making hemp jewelry and... well... the dolphin is swimming and that's the closest I can get to incorportating that... well, and there's some blue in there too for the color of the water) and it's my one year anniversary present of being completely smoke free, so that's how I'm incorporating my quit into it as well (couldn't get N.O.P.E. in there without it looking tacky... trust me, I tried!) So that is my new one year anniversary present in addition to the other things. Thank you Shel for coaxing me to go above and beyond for this special occasion. You were right. Thank you so much! ParotLady, thank you! Shevie, you're right on time as always! :) So glad to have gotten to know you through this quit process. Thank you for everything! Lady, yes, we have come a long way. Thanks for traveling this road with me. Wendy, thank you for your support. You are also a very wonderful person and I'm so glad that I've gotten to know you through this site. Thank you so much! Fish, thanks! Rusty, thanks for everything you do around here! You've always led the way on this site. Thanks for showing us how it's done. Rob, thank you! Sillyme, thank you! Jan, the party is over in the VIP club. Choose your favorite Disney character and come on over! Everyone is welcome!!! Cuddles, I am so proud of you and of what you are doing. When you celebrate one year smoke free (notice, I said WHEN... not IF), I think I will be more excited than I am for myself celebrating this milestone! I can't wait to see you get here too! And you will! Keep going strong! Sparky, thanks for the bit of humor you add around here
