I was definitely depressed at 100 days. Wondering if I would EVER feel fun again - ever feel like myself again. It really was nearly a year before I really started feeling better. I don't say this to scare anyone - but despite the lack of cravings, all the pride and joy of being a quitter - it took longer. Now I am not a quitter anymore - I am a non-smoker. Finally my life is back. Don't give up. It constantly gets better and better. This one year out of your life is nothing compared to the difference this will make in your future. Hang in there. get that reward program in place....and don't forget the little "instant" rewards for when you are having the down days. it is always good to remember that we had those days even when we were smoking??? when we quit, we tend to blame all the negative in our lives on the fact that we are no longer smoking?? good luck....force positive thoughts to the forefront Katy Kickin' ASH for Four years, seven months, one day, 45 minutes and 30 seconds. 66921 cigarettes not smoked, saving $9,541.74.
