well said hummy. I too am on the other side, and let me tell ya, I never thought I would be able to climb over that big wall of addiction to reach it... but I DID... and all you new folks can too. I am no different than you. Same fears, and worries, and addiction... but I made it. It was hard at first, and believe me, I lived her too for a while!! lol... but it gets easier, and now, I don't think of it at all.
I just recently had to move out of my house due to a unhealthy environment, and it was nice to be able to look at apartments that said " non smoker only"....
I am almost at a year, and trust me all you new ones.... I NEVER thought I would make it this far, but I believed in myself, this site, and my body.
I beat the odds, I know that, but you can too. Look at all of us members, and when you tell yourself that " you CAN'T do it, just count the number of people on this site, cause they all said the same. We all did.!!
Now look at us... almost one year for me.... wow.
well.. thought I would check in, and leave my two cents worth.
Living strong, Living long...
Katie.
