The first weekend can be a killer..don't let it get you down..they get better....My second weekend....I stayed out of all the places where I smoked and tried to keep myself busy (gym, mall, grocery store, anywhere that was smoke-free) Probably posted myself to death too! Good luck! I have always needed something in my hand while I'm driving soooooo...I usually have a bottle of water, a tea or a coffee, occasionally grapes or something else to snack on. I noticed that I was talking on the cell phone ALOT (because you can't talk on cell phone, smoke and drive at the same time) I don't recommend this...will soon be illegal in our province anyway....but I did get one of those funky head sets to use on my cell phone...just have to figure out how to use it. Congrats on 2 days! Wow, today I was wanting one, and I think I actually talked myself into it too....I was thinking about how good I was doing, and then I thought, maybe I can just smoke one and then, before I slapped myself in the forehead, I realized that I was obviously having a craving or something, and was just believing all of the bs I was telling myself. It dawned on me, I woke up, I know better! I did not smoke, and I will not, because I know one leads to the next one in a pack of 20. I really am not hating the fact that I quit either. Actually, I haven't put alot of thought into this, until this afternoon when I went off in la la land for a bit. I may not post much, but I do look forward to my morning and nightly posts just to remind myself that I am still smokefree and anyone else who may care! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/4/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 3 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 75 Amount Saved: $10.5 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 6 Mins: 5 Seconds: 33

I want to say thank you all for your support....Unfortunately, I had a rough night last night and I smoked....I will be coming back, I just need to get some things in my life straightened out. I know that non smokers deal with stress without smoking, and I shouldve found a better way. I am just rather upset, with life, with my quit, with everything right now. I will be back shortly just need to have a better game plan or shoot idiots who drive me completely insane. I was feeling so much better, I was feeling my chest and lungs getting better. My voice wasnt always hoarse. I am just so very disappointed in myself.... Okay! I believe I have things as good as they are gonna be for now, and it's never gonna get any easier! I will be smokefree from 9pm on tonight. I don't want to get drug back to a pack a day and if I let this get me down again I will! I know how easy it is to get back there and I don't want to do that. I am feeling a bit better about things, thanks to an incredible friend and I wanna give this thing another go before I get sucked fully back in. So instead of I quit tomorrow, I quit tonight at 9pm. Wish me luck, and I will most definitly keep you posted. I should've came here before I wigged out and had a smoke, but there's no giving up now!
