Fiddlehead ferns are the little coiled round head of the fiddle head fern. They are picked, cleaned a bit and steamed or blanched and are great tossed with a little olive oil and lemon juice, some places fancy them up but they are a forest deilcacy.
Like truffles, fine wine, good beer and pizza, ice cream, gelato I can taste all of these good foods so much better now that I just don't smoke. Glad I found some self control because I could be just a tad slimmer than I am?!?
Fireworks and lots of big noise to scare the dog and enjoy watching off of my roof deck.
Going to find some berries and cherries for dessert.
