wowie I just realised today is my 4th weak as a non-smoker big 28 days. This day was the best, I went to the restaurant for breakfast with my smoker best-friend (law here no smoking anywhere) we sat and talked for 2 hours (gave the waitress a big tip :)) when we left I sensed it was time for Jackie to light a cig so I said if you want to smoke a cig it's ok we'll walk while you smoke. Low and behold it didn't bother me. Then she came over to my house and wanted to smoke again, well I was a bit uneasy because I don't want any smoking in the house, so I gave her an ashtray and I sat with her outside while she smoked and that was that. I haven't craved all day for the FIRST time since my quit and I feel sooooooo good. One day at a time and I know I will get through this. Thank you all for your support Marie :) :) :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 28 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 432 Amount Saved: $112 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 19 Mins: 13 Seconds: 22

Danielle, you asked if I learnt anything about myself! Yes I learnt that I am too early in my quit to read about smoking it really pushes my buttons and then makes me feel bad that I lost patience. I now know that it's better to ignore them and concentrate on myself. I want to win this battle and I will use all of the coping mechanisms that I learnt on this site. I appreciate the help of everyone here, it helps me a whole lot. Thank you again Marie :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 28 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 433 Amount Saved: $112 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 19 Mins: 21 Seconds: 55
