Oh I love to come back to the beach to visit! Making it to the beach was my first huge milestone and I was welcomed with so much love and caring by my fellow quitters. I am just glad to see that tradition carried forward. I am not around as much as I use to be but rest assured I am still here. I don't think I will ever leave the SSC. My quit family has been such a source of inspiration for me. I just can't imagine life without all my good friends here. :) It is amazing to help people along their way in this struggle to break free of a horrible addiction. I really believe this is where God wants me to be. So....I remain. Blessing.... How Awesome to see the beach expanding yet again. Don't forget to carry through the history of the beach for all those quitters that follow us. This is how quitters can know about those that have come before them and pass it on to those that follow. What a wonderful group of centurions! It is great to see so many quitters! The history of the beach.... Duffis' original post that started this whole train a-rollin': Some how my brain slipped into gear this evening and I started thinking again. I have often thought that reaching 100 days quit was a major milestone and that we ought to have a club for that. We have clubs for every thing else. MajorDude and all of you that are close to 100..........what do you think? The original beach is in the main forum and the others are located in this forum (in case you want to go back and read). There have been awesome celebrations here and are still many more to come. Duffis began the beach, Alaskan Girl carried on from there, Lady and Cheryl kept the beach going next and have recently passed the torch to N2K and SweetPea. Upon reaching the 6 month mark N2k and ~Sweetpea~ passed the torch to butterfly swimmer. Butterfly Swimmer passed the torch to Redrosie and Sunshine. Sunshine passed the torch on to CobenFan and Healer. Thank you Healer for your kind offer of passes. However, I don't believe there are any passes necessary for the this beach :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/1/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 385 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,712 Amount Saved: $1347.5 Life Gained: Days: 33 Hrs: 23 Mins: 32 Seconds: 36

Hello everyone, Just stopped by to see how the beach is comming along. Lots of changes and lots of new 100 days free smokers. Good to see so many making use of the place. Next stop for you is the 6-12 club, another of Duffis's imaginations. I myself am in the one year villas waiting for more company to join in the fun. So don't get stuck anywhere along the route, the journey continues as long as you live. Be seeing you soon.......
