When I hit 100 days I went out and did some much needed clothes shopping! I had lost weight (imagine that) and most of my clothes were just falling off me. What fun I had! Wow...so I've been doing some reading and low and behold, THIS is the beach. I've been "at the beach" for a little bit now and I'm amazed that I never actually found it! Silly me! [B]The history of the beach.... If I am not mistaken, this is the 6th Century Club thread. The original beach is in the main forum and the others are located in this forum (in case you want to go back and read). There have been awesome celebrations here and are still many more to come. Duffis began the beach, Alaskan Girl carried on from there, Lady and Cheryl kept the beach going next and have recently passed the torch to N2K and SweetPea. Upon reaching the 6 month mark N2k and ~Sweetpea~ passed the torch to butterfly swimmer. Butterfly Swimmer has now passed the torch to Redrosie and Sunshine�.[/b] There you go Redrosie. Keep the beach alive. Its a huge milestone that new quitters work toward. Congratulations to all who make it to the beach. Maybe I'll stick around for the party for a while. Those old people over at the 6-12 club sleep a lot ;) . You are an awesome bunch of quitters! Sunshine keep the party going. Sunshine, Ramble away... that's quite alright. It's funny you mention me almost at 200 days... I just realized it today! It totally didn't even occur to me until just a few hours ago. I'm still on such a high from getting to 6 months... it seems way too soon to be having another milestone. ;p Yes, I'm still swimming... I have to swim a 500 everytime I work... it's required (I'm a lifeguard) so I definitely get my exercise! Haven't been swimming too much other than that though. Congratulations on your 4 months! I bet that feels fantastic! Glad to hear you have the support of your family. For many (myself included), working in the garden wouldn't be much of a reward... but I guess it is for some.
