Hey Everyone - thank you so much for your vote in my taking over the Beach... That means the world to me, friends. My concern is that I don't know that I have the time to ((properly)) take the care that this Beach needs on a daily basis... Is there anyone who would be willing to share the responsibilities of the Beach with me? Ron? Island Girl? 4my2girls? Anyone else who will be here for awhile? If someone can share with me the responsibilities, I will do it! But I don't feel I can do it alone, as we need to greet new-comers daily, and that in and of itself is a big responsibility (to do it right)... Any thoughts? HEY EVERYONE!!! :) ItsIronic - A dog??? WELL OF COURSE! I have all 3 of mine here with me everyday... What would we do w/out our doggie angels:) Ron - extra new bathing suits are in the dressing room next to the pool... you knew we had a huge olympic size pool, right? So pick out what you'd like - always what we need is here :) Anyone seen Mr. Ed? We are having seafood tonight, grilled or fried, your choice, and we have steak for those meat lovers, too... baked potatoes with the trimmings, and cobenfan brought her potato salad, so we are all set!! yum yum... oh and salad, of course! OK now I'm hungry (smile)- we always have bottled water from France (love saying that for some reason!) and I always make fresh peach and mango iced tea so that's around too for those that are thirsty... Hey CobenFan - I have your arrival date on the calender as 7/3 - WOW 3 days and you are here!!! LOL well your already here, but you know what I mean :) I'm so excited for you - those 100 days are looking mighty good on you, dear one! OK who's on the Beach w/out their bathing suits! And CF is bringing binoculars - great- watch us get edited lol - we will be the first Beach group to be deleted! LOL NOW, that's funny:) (smile) we are the cutting edge beach people, eh? :) CF - where are those choc chip cookies? Sunshine asked me to get her some:) my2girls - How cool that you got to see your grandparents... Isn't amazing that we can sit so long and spend time w/those we love w/out trying to figure out how to sneak a smoke!! It's such freedom and it s so powerful, this freedom, isn't it? Good for you, my2girls!! my2girls- if you could ((((please)))) gather a list (and post it here for me) of who is coming to the Beach and I will make sure they are greeted properly, THAT WOULD BE SUCH A BLESSING FOR ME... Could you do that on a regular basis? Hi Everyone, Just checking to see what we need... There are neighbors who dropped by (they are out by the ocean listening to music and enjoying the crashing waves, and I think I saw some kids there too, laughing and playing:) Trudy, get a bite to eat, and there's some peach and mango iced tea, chips and lots of fresh fruit too!! Hi Island Girl, Sunshine and Polly are moving on as we speak (this week!!) :) So the Beach is really not manned after they are gone... Sunshine has asked me to take over as has Polly and 4my2girls - but I just can't do it alone... The new comers ((really)) need a proper greeting (and we would have to constantly check to see who's coming each day, so there's really alot to do...) Both of us would need to be here alot! In fact Mr. Ed told Pam on another thread, that there would be a party here for her celebration and no one has even mentioned it here, so we (((really))) need someone to take over and keep up... Hey Everyone, Where's Christine? Party time for our CobenFan :) Hello? :) OK am going out looking for everyone, I don't even see our Mr. Ed so it looks like I missed my English breakfast and no one fixes that like our talking horse! :) CobenFan - I love the aqua hammock and cooler you picked out - what a wonderful healing color!! We have some hot tubs being put in (seems someone ordered them for us and they will be delivered later today). All this relaxation is just amazing isn't it? I don't think I'll ever leave the Beach!
