Well, mine is June 28th, next Wednesday. One year ago I promised myself that I would quit smoking when I turned 50. I turned 50 on June 24th and smoked my last cigarrette at 4:00pm June 27th on my way home from work. Now on Saturday, I will turn 51 and on Wednesday will be smoke free for 1 year. HOORAY!!!!!!!!! PS - I really don't think I could have made it 1 year if it wasn't for this site. I come here everyday and appreciate all the help and guidance I receive along the way. I see that VIP room on the horizion and soooooo looking forward to being welcomed on Aug 29, 2006...That will be my one year !!!!!!! As a Smober and Fresh Air Freak.... The Smober's took me under their wing on my process to quittin and the the Fresh Air Freaks also were there to support me as I started out on this journey. I feel that I have been triple blessed, not only with two very supportive groups but also the SSC as a Whole.....Without all of you and your support and friendships, I truly don't think I would be celebrating one year in August....I Am Going To Make It !!!!!!!! But first off will be Lady's 1 year celebration....and I do plan on partying for that as it is also my birthday !!!!!!..I have always celebrated my birthday throughout the 4th of July, so this year will be extra special as Cheryl will also be celebrating her one year too !!!!! It's gonna be a long 4/5 days....geeeeeeeez who will have time to even think of smoking :) Not I........
