Easy or Hard?

Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be for all those years, but then again, I didn't have the right mindset for all those years either. I attribute a lot of it to the SSC. It was the turning point in making it a completely positive thing, as well as giving me lots of information and education, AND on-going support. If it weren't for Chantix or this site i would never have been able to quit. So far it has not been too bad. I crave everyday, some days worse than others, but I have noticed that it does get easier to handle with each week. The only thing that i wish would go away is the fact that I smell tobacco 24/7. Not sure why, but I do. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 30 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 772 Amount Saved: $150 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 6 Mins: 31 Seconds: 25

I think that I would have had a difficult quit or possibly no quit at all. Fortunately I educated myself on the negative effects of nicotine and how to quit smoking. I also found this site and took advantage of the tools and knowlege of people who came here before me. I read advice, use advice, and understand that every quit is different. I have also remained happy and excited about this process. Therefore, this has been a eye opening, pleasant experience. Yes, I have had craves. Yes, I have wanted a cigarette at times. The bottom line is that I have choosen not to smoke anymore. That is that. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/8/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 82 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,240 Amount Saved: $344.4 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 15 Mins: 36 Seconds: 43

SO far I must say it has been relatively easy, but then I am on the patch so you expect it should be easier, because I still have nicotine in my blood system. But...having quit the same way other times, this time is very different, my attitude is different and I think that is the thing that is making it easier this time. I have finally figured out and I am an addict and that I can't touch amother cigarette! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 25 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 649 Amount Saved: $263.75 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 3 Mins: 20 Seconds: 22
