Day 4 -smokes on the dresser

Cheers to you! I had the same thing happen to me today (and on my day 1! sheesh!). It was in the back of my head ALL DAY, but I left it and gave it to my hubby when he got home from work. It's definitely hard doing this with someone who smokes! On the positive side, he has agreed to smoke outside for the first few days and even called me this afternoon and suggested that he is thinking about quitting on his birthday which is mid Nov! I hope he does! Anyway, this is about you, not me! Just wanted to say that i feel where you are coming from and to congratulate you on your strength! :)

Could you accidently flush them down the toilet, perhaps run over them with the car or drop them in the kitty litter. If not...read read read...drink lots of water...just keep quitting. Actually my hubbie smokes too so the smokes are always there...but then again...they will always be only a block away. I honestly don't have the urge to grab one like I used too (at least today) although the odd time, the thought just crosses my mind. Cuddles...you are one of the great October quitters! We need ya! Keep up the good quit! Way to go! I just love all these October quitters....almost wish I could be one of them...except for having to do that hell week/heck week thing again....perhaps I could be an honourary member of a mascot or something like that? Please please please??? Way to go Cuddles! I'm glad you got rid of them. They can prove to be a pretty nasty temptation. They would be for me, anyhow. Luckily for my, my hubby quit smoking nearly 2 years ago. I don't know how I'd handle it if he still smoked. And Windy, my hat's off to you as well, both you and Cuddles(and I'm sure there are others), quit with smokers still around you. You guys are really strong!!! Cuddles, Way to avoid temptation!!! I agree with Windy... "accidentally" destroy those suckers! If hubby will be away for that long, he will probably forget that he even put some there and then will go buy more when he gets back. And if he does remember? Let that be a lesson to him to keep his smokes AWAY from you... especially when he's going to be gone for a while! Get rid of those smokes! You don't need that temptation! Way to go on not smoking though Cuddles! You're doing an awesome job! Crave the Quit! Nice job Cuddles! Proud of you for doing that. I have one of my wifes packs 5 feet away from me on the counter... doesn't bother me a bit anymore. You'll get there as well. N.O.P.E.
