Hey Cinda good stats, apparently it goes away , repeat your commitment, this is all a mind game, you can't beat years of habit in a month, it takes time and patience and we addicts have trouble with that so do your exercices to the left and before you know it this will be behind us . Understand how you feel still go through it but not as often I am training my mind to let go of the junkie thoughts. Good luck to you, take it one day at a time Marie :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/13/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 30 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 456 Amount Saved: $120 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 0 Mins: 18 Seconds: 0

Ann, I really worry that what you are suffering is a side affect from the Zyban. Have you done a search on the side affects of the medication you are taking? Its all in the mind. Dont give it power. Think of something else. Distract yourself. It only has the power that you give to it. I know that sounds easier said than done Cinda but you can do this! Dear Cinda seems like you have similar feeling that i have at the moment --(a few days where worse than today) Some say 30 day pit, it has also been full moon etc etc I do belive its a combination of all--> I have recently got hold of the ALLEN CARR book and have almost finished it, ( have you read that one??) He talks about the brainwashing that smoking causes etc etc It is a terrible addiction!! The worst is --> it only takes 1 CIG to get hooked!!! The fear is the worst...> did not really understand i actually still have it in me until i read it yesterday! But, im not giving in---> I have smoked 26 years VERY HEAVY (30-44 a day) Given up numerous of times before, some only lasting an hour!! I do have terrible mindgames--get sooo anxious eg, start thinking about death of loved ones, or im alone, nobody cares, feel like crawling out of the skin, try to find excuses for having one, its like being schizo>?? i think.. ?? These mind talks are terrible.. Cinda i do believe it will pass --we just have to let go--- Cinda post often and keep strong ann My Milage: My Quit Date: 6/6/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 37 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,670 Amount Saved: $588.3 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 10 Mins: 17 Seconds: 8

What healthy things have you added to your life to replace smoking? Have you been rewarding yourself daily, weekly & monthly? Ann, I'd have to agree with niks, it is possible you dose may need to be adjusted. Please consult your doctor and tell him about the thoughts you've been having. Danielle ___________________________ The SSC Support Team
