Thank you everyone for all the wonderful congrats. I am looking at all the quit days of you all. Even though we are all at different places in our quits we can say that we are all the same. We are all ex smokers. If we keep the faith that we can do it, we will always be ex smokers. We have the power to always be that.

Hello Everyone,
Just checking in to say I am at 7 months as of yesterday. It gets easier every month. Still need to take deep breaths every once in a while, but have no desire to smoke. My husband and I started walking, but have had to put that on hold because of the heat. I would like to lose the weight I have gained, but for the first time I don't want or need to start smoking again to do that. I know that when I put my mind to it, I will lose it. Not smoking is more important. Anyway just wanted to let everyone know that it does get better with time even if right now to you it may not seem like it. I smoked for 30 years so if I can do it anyone can.

It's better to be a non-smoker with an occasional desire for a cig than a smoker with a constant desire to quit......
