If anyone is a family member of friend of someone with a diagnosed panic disorder, you are most welcome to post. As family members, relative or friends of sufferers, little focus is placed on us and how we can be supportive or be supported too. As a mental health volunteer, my experience has been one of discovering that family members are often kept out of the loop because of patient confidentiality. Yet families are often the ones dealing with the sufferer at the moment of an attack, or panic tailspin. We want to help, but don't exactly know what to do? Is that your experience? If so, you're more than welcome to discuss it here. -- Anne-Marie, Site Administrator
