Temporary post: This is to let you know that Red has not used any offensive language in the previous posts. Our software is sensitive, (even to ordinary words like ****her, LOL. We will get this fixed soon. Thanks -- Anne-Marie, Site Administrator

Dear Red, Allow me to send you some magical vibes from the sea. I am closing my eyes right now and enveloping you in a glowing golden light - is is so beautiful - it is lifting you up and I see you flying by way of your soul to where the rainbow meets the sea and then you fly further into the universe - to a silent special place where your ego turns to spirit - you land on a golden beach with sparkling sea shells filled with messages of wisdom - you are dancing in a circle on golden sand with loved ones who have gone before you - and your spirit guide is holding your hand eversotightly - you are laughing with joy - then, you all go to the arch of wisdom - and receive blessings from the glowing light of purity. Then, I see you flying down back to the where the rainbow meets the sea - you come home with divine blessings. Night, Maria

Hi, Maria, This is a new website, so I imagine it may take a fw ays for the thing to catch on with others, meantime, if you don't mind, we can discus many things. I was most interested in your imagery of the "cloud". great analogy. I undertand the feeling, only I feel like this on a temporary basis. The most it lasts is a day or two. It may be here more, it is just that I have gotten used to being in the house so much, and I am so restricted as to what I able to do..it does not bother me any longer. I have this computer, and my TV, and my talent to get me thru. If I could only have my spine repaired..I need another miracle. maria..please send some positive energy to me if you can sare a little. I am thrilled that you were able to work thru those emons, and that you have made such great progress. You know there are a lot of people that never come back from that. I know you are aware of this, and I know that you know I care. There are lots of different kinds of suffering..eh? If you don't mind me asking, what is your new job? I'll bet you are thrilled.. and I am sorry I canot help you with employment matters. I remember when I had to dal in the Casino..I was so nervous I had to take a pill every 4 hrs just to tap in on that **** game. I had panic disorder very badly from when I was a little girl. Back then, they called it "stage fright". it was not recognized as a disease. I can tell you about the dealers' job though, if you want. I used to love to garden, and up until this past summer, I had a gorgeous garden. people would stop and knock on the door, just to tll me how great it looked..or leave me a note, that they drove by, I wasn't home and they sat on my dock and "enjoyed". There are nice ones left zi suppose...I think most are around here. Please write I enjoy..

Had no idea you were disabled, so much to read on this sight. The looking out the window all the time is a strange thing. It is like you are 'locked in', by your own mind. You want to go out, you have the desire to go out, you know you must go out, but, sometimes the best I can do is look out. I can drive - I also live alone - somedays I can drive all over, get thinks done, then all of the sudden the cloud comes over my head and camps out for awhile - the agoraphobia sets in. Yes, it is boring, but, I write alot of poetry, have the cleanest house on the block and a stunning garden! I handle my 'stuff' alone these days - went through 10 years or so of therapy dealing with step-father and his brothers issues - and all kind of other depressing things - the good news I have worked through a tremendous amount of bad stuff - and, now only have a few demons left to deal with - I consider myself lucky. I have new job to start next week and I really hope I can deal with it - I am going to try my best. I posted a request for any input from others, but, haven't gotten an answer yet. Bye for now, Maria

Hi, Maria I know how you feel about being invisible...an I do not understand what you mean about looking out the window or door all the time. What is the significance of that gesture? I am empathetic and have to agree that it is boring. What do you do to pass the time? Hobbies, work at home, artist TV , please explain more???Do you live alone? I live alone and am disabled in the spine from a drunk driver on drugs. Hs truck hit me in the rear at a stop sign. He gppt three years and I got the life sentence. So I am in a hospital bed and get up and do chores and get back in. I was looking for some creative way to pass time. Isn't there someone who can come and take you out, a little at a time? That is how I got over my driving phobia. I would go a tiny distance and come home. Each successive time, I would go a little ****her. I also gained some confidence back. If I lived near yiu I would help with this. Where do you live? I am in SC. Doesn't your dr give you sessions, group? Only meds? What? I do not want you to think I am being pushy..ut I think it is important that you get the very best care there is out there. y PhD, is always lending me reading material, giving me workbooks, etc. uI have been going for 7 years , since my 3rd back surgery from the wreck. I wanted you to know so we could share info. Red This message was edited by am on 1-27-02 @ 3:26 AM

Dear Red, I am an expert of Agoraphobia. It is when you stay in your house for days at a time - afraid to even go to the grocery store - going from one job to another because somedays you just can't show up because you are afraid to go out the door - the fear builds up so bad you become paralyzed - you don't answer the phone, the door and are totally afraid someone will see you in your present state. Panic attacks will do this to you - you think you are going to have an attack at any moment and you certainly don't want to have one in public - they may think you are off your rocker. Days of no showering - not really depressed, just cabin feaver with no way out - you will walk out at night - because, you feel invisible and no one can see you if you freak out. Maria P.S. Another tell tale sign of agoraphobia is always going to the door or window and peeking out - to see if someone is coming or is there - to see if anyone can see you. Sounds really weird, huh? Happens to me sometimes and I am in public relations - no one knows how I suffer. I suffer in silence - medicated by my doctor.

Mr Bubble, I agree and the whoe thing boils down to this. When I get the gut..I have to take notice immediately af the physical feeling in the gut. If the twinge is there it is not avoidance..it's a "gut' If, on the otherhand, there is no"Twinge"..then I take it as avoidnace. I never say this outloud or my body will hear it and catch on.
