Hey, you can do it. In some ways I spent the last two years preparing to quit. Had the gum, the patches, the lozenges, but then one day I said to myself, I just have to stop smoking. Just stop. I did. Went from two packs a day to cold turkey. I smoked for every reason under the sun. Boredom, of course, was one of them. I graduated University for about the fifth time in May. (I'm sort of a professional student.) I couldn't imagine what life would look like without my smokes. Well, it looks the same, just without smokes. I got really sick during the first three days. I'm happy about that, because when the junkie in me starts playing games the first thing it will say is, that wasn't so hard. I can quit anytime I want to. So why not smoke. I was smoke free for two years about 17 years ago and have not been able to get much of anything going since. So I really value the time I have and know that I can not have another puff ever (NOPE). Good luck! Own your quit.
