How are you doing, Phil? Was the medication you were on to help your moods during the quit? I know the feeling you are talking about - some sort of general malaise - nothing seems to matter. Give yourself more time. It could take a while yet. Stay active and your natural brain chemistry will start to do what it is supposed to do again. Take care, buddy, QM My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/16/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 3 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 77 Amount Saved: $12 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 13 Mins: 49 Seconds: 51

Hi Phil...I'm a little late in posting...so sorry...was away last night and somehow I missed this post. My goodness, this is such a roller coaster ride. You have been so supportive of everyone else during the rough patches...I hope we can send you lots and lots of support while you get through yours. Hoping that you are starting to feel better by the time you get this post! Had a bad day yesterday and a pretty rotten night. Cant believe it after all this time.(70 days ish) This morning I didnt want to get out of bed and face the world! These mood swings are so scary! How bad is that? I am seeing my counsellor and my doctor for a full check up at 11.30am will report back then. WELL! All my blood tests(and I had them all) are fine. The Doc thinks it might be partly the Simvastatin tablets so she has stopped them for a couple of months.
