What are your NOTS?

Sounds like you're a very nice person indeed! I wish I didn't have some of the things you don't have! But... I'm not a cow, leave it at that. But I will make a list of myself, see what I can come up with. It's a great idea! When I come to this forum I ask, reply, and post topics that are sincere and from my heart. Being a writer, I spend alot of time on my posts, and re-read and edit where need be to humor the perfectionist in me too. That's real honest. On some things I have written, I feel like I am making a difference in not only my own quit, but whoever may be stumbling upon this site in the way that I did, and finding a post. People can sense your energy and your intention in the way that you write something. Your words are felt. They touch hearts. Sometimes they don't. That integrity speaks volumes about who you are, and that may speak volumes for others in their quits (no matter where the meter says they are). I never expect an outpour of replies when I post but there seem to be alot of people who relate to me. I have to first and foremost express my gratitude here to all who have supported me and rah rah'd me insofar on my journey here. I don't have to list your names here because you already know who you are ;) Learning about who you are The real you, the one who was hiding behind the smoke all those years, is emerging. Thus, you will find out who you REALLY ARE when you are quit. In order to find out who you are, you first need to find out who you are not. So, for the sake of my own truth factor, I am going to make a list of my 'nots'. You may feel free to add your NOTS to this thread, to discover on your journey who you ARE through your NOTS! :) Here goes. I am NOT- Political Dishonest Manipulating Selfish Fearful Doubtful Insincere Phony or Fake Weak Jealous Pitiful Pathetic Shy Sneaky Angry Stressed 2 faced Poor in Spirit Unhealthy Negative Violent Hateful Resistant Bias Egotistical I am sure there will be more but this is a good start. Cheers to you all finding out who you really are through your 'NOTS'!! Many Blessings, Eve :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 98 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 785 Amount Saved: $588 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 6 Mins: 14 Seconds: 56

More NOTS: Perfect ;) I might be a bit calf-ish considering the pout now but swimming is slowly taking those lbs off! lol ALL Good stuff everyone! Not materialistic either but I like TOYS! Especially those you can take to the beach lol/ N2K- Bad spellers of the world- UNTIE! (I stopped being able to spell good after age 35 that's all I am gonna say :p Keep 'em coming!! You can learn alot about yourself by looking at where you are at in your quit...you can say I have come this far, I no longer do this...or that...I am not this, or that. It has helped me to see what we are learning and who we really are here...because it is who you are that is truly shining now :) Have a great day everyone! Many Blessings, Eve :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/8/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 98 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 789 Amount Saved: $588 Life Gained: Days: 8 Hrs: 7 Mins: 2 Seconds: 18
