Hi all July quitters. Sorry I have not been helpfull to you all or reporting in on this site. I just can't find the time to be hooked to a computer. I actually find it quite boring sitting, staring at a screen and typing. I'm one of those people who are always moving. Rarely do I sit during the day, except when I'm eating. I bought a 6 man tent but it in my opinion only sleeps 4. So away I went camping, had a blast and thought it was an excellent reward for myself. I have been real busy training my 358 sheep to get adapted to a solar/electric fence and that was a nightmare at first but now they have learned to stay away from the fence. I went and played with the firemen the other night and that was a blast too. Never thought I'd see the day when I was being told how to use a fireman's hose, how cool was that. The one guy would only put the hose up to 90 for pressure for me and at that rate it took me back off my feet. He said when they are fooling around they set the pressure at 120 and it will lift a 220 pound man off his feet. I drove around in the truck, got to see every part of it and how the one fireman has the job of keeping his eyes on all the gages for water pressure etc. I'm GETTING MARRIED AGAIN. I STILL CAN NOT BELIEVE THAT ONE!!!! My husband and I have been married for 20 years and last weekend I got purposed to again............gee I MUST SMELL GOOD NOW!!! LOL We are getting re-married for our 25th anniversary in the Bahamas with close family and friends joining in. We have already let everyone know so they can save up money to join us on the cruise we will be taking etc. WOW!!!! life is changing so fast for me, my head is spinning. I have another bridal shower to go to this weekend as I had one last weekend too and many other events coming up and I'm still doing everything SOBER AND SMOBER!!!! I'm a real happy person right now and just wanted to pop in and say,CONGRATS to everyone else who is still succeeding at their quits and please never give up.......things do get better. I found out the other day that my MOM has been diagnosed with cancer of the bowel and so far we do not know if the cancer has spread or not. It's sad.....but sad news no longer makes me drink or smoke, so there is hope for me after all. :p Oh hubby is now the proud owner o

Hi folks.........popping in to say thanks for your warm replies and YES...please do keep my MOM (Elizabeth) in your prayers. Ironically, my Grandmother who passed away last year which is my Mom's Mom also had cancer of the bowel and she got it at a younger age than my Mom who is 63. Hope it's not heriditary??(SP)? Off to the beach for a real relaxing day.............. :8|: then to Kincardine to watch the Scottish Pipe Band, I have to do that since my oldest daughter's boyfriend is in the Pipe Band and also takes his turn being the Phantom Piper who plays in the Lighthouse......long story, but never a dull moment around my house or in my life. :p had enough My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/20/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 22 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 786 Amount Saved: $165 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 4 Mins: 33 Seconds: 55
