Hey Rob...looks like I'm a little late but sounds like you were MIA anyway :p Congratulations on 61 awesome days quit. The freedom comes and when it does you will know it. You are going to look back and just be amazed at all you have accomplished and how good you feel. You are really getting close now. There is no set time, we all know that because for everyone it is different but you should be reaching it soon my friend. Hang in there. Remember this.. some days sucked even when we smoked. You are doing great. Keep going! Hi folks, Rob, I'm so glad you feel as though you've turned a corner...that's great news! I don't know that anyone has shown any correlation between time smoked/number smoked and the difficulty of the quit. I just don't think quitting has been studied enough. All cravings pass and a craving has never killed anyone. The absolute best thing to do, no matter where you are in your quit, is change your location and your activity. Go somewhere, pick up a mop and scrub the floor, go for a run. Delay and distract. If you don't do that, you are doomed to obsessing over the crave. Good luck, everybody!
