Hi folks,
Rob, I'm so glad you feel as though you've turned a corner...that's great news!
I don't know that anyone has shown any correlation between time smoked/number smoked and the difficulty of the quit. I just don't think quitting has been studied enough.
All cravings pass and a craving has never killed anyone. The absolute best thing to do, no matter where you are in your quit, is change your location and your activity. Go somewhere, pick up a mop and scrub the floor, go for a run. Delay and distract. If you don't do that, you are doomed to obsessing over the crave.
Good luck, everybody!
Rusty :)
