May I gently suggest some talking therapy to help you get through all these mixed up feelings? Ditto on what Iquit4me said.....print that post out and read and reread it. it is SO true. AND....quit trying to 'reason' in any way with the smokers....I know personally that an addict will turn ANY and ALL reasoning into support for their addiction. I was THERE...I KNOW. Concentrate on yourself...when they smoke, leave the scene...and don't 'talk' about it. come here for your support and also to rant it out....that's what this place is for. You are still young to quitting....the problems you are having are quit normal. Just believe all of us and hang in here....it gets better....we all wouldn't be here if that weren't true! and when you get a reward?? Be sure to relate it directly to the fact that you didn't smoke. Set that 'specific' money aside and then use it to purchase the reward.....that will make it 'smoking' money that bought the reward. or....take the amount and buy a bond...or invest it some way so you can watch it grow.....but make sure you see what 'smoking money' is doing for you. It won't matter that you are able to have what you want anyway.....you will know that a paticular item is yours from 'money saved by quitting' and I for one wish to send you a huge cyber ((hug)) and a hearty congratulations on your quit. the beginning days and weeks are by far the hardest....hang tough tell yourself that smoking is NOT one of your options....it would be INSANE to smoke now! ;p Katy

Chicken, This is normal. Try relaxation techniques and distract yourself from those awful craves. The toxins may be out of your system, but the habits and thoughts still linger. Take the time to re-read information and prepare for those horrible jolts of craves that you think might set you back. You can do this and you have achieved so much, stay strong!
