the advice Pam gives is on the money.....also use rewards....have special ones planned for after study sessions....(or during them)....small breaks when thoughts try to turn to smoking, straws are also good to chew and twist on while reading
Your addiction is still at work,,,,telling you that you can't get through this...that you need to smoke to make it.....don't be believing that, cause it's a lie. you just keep "choosing" to not smoke..do it a day, even an hour at a time as you go through this time.
