Hi, Bump. You're welcome. Glad I can help some. "Close" only counts with horseshoes, handgrenades and atom bombs. You didn't smoke, that's what counts. Don't worry about the weight right now. Eat healthy, not junk, but don't worry about a few pounds right now. Pulling all the plugs at once is a really bad idea :8o:. Quitting smoking should certainly help you heal faster. If nothing else, you'll get more rest because you won't be having to get up for a smoke. Look at that, Bump! 1 day smoke-free. 49 cigs not smoked. $6 saved. 3 1/2 hours saved. Ain't it great!! :) Shevie My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/23/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 332 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,643 Amount Saved: $1261.6 Life Gained: Days: 61 Hrs: 22 Mins: 2 Seconds: 7

I strongly suggest you remove the word 'trying' from your thread title to 'I'm Doing It This Time.' Good luck and watch the numbers grow.
