Thanks Ron, The call about my aunt's death was a shock and probably the toughest thing I've had to face since quitting... For the first time I had to deal with something really painful without my cigarettes... I did it. Hang on to your quit and thanks for the encouragement!
Thanks Eve - I love the little bluepanda you have on your post - I don't know how to add images to post here.
Gogga - you're doing so great - be sure to join the C.A.R.E. group if you haven't already. :)
Hey bluepanda...
Sorry to hear of your Aunt's passing... I'm sure your Aunt is dancing for you! And she is... like I am, very proud of you.
Keep up the good work!
Ron

Bluepanda,
Congrat's on your two weeks quit. You have strength that flows from you to others in your words.
Im really sorry about your Aunt and Pass loses of your family. It is very difficult to have any member of the family, or friends pass. I loss my father, nephew, and father-n-law in the last year and each one was in it's own difficult to deal with. But you not turning for a cig is great for that will not change what has happened nor will it comfort you. But what you can count on is all of us non-smokers are standing with you in this time of grieving. You do not stand alone.
Prayers are sent to you and your family

Bluepanda.. the rewards are important. In the beginning I didn't think they were either but they really are. Don't skip this step. A reward doesn't have to be expensive or even material. It just has to be something that you do for yourself and tell yourself you deserve it because of your accomplishment of being smoke free for 14 days.
It can be a hot bubble bath, skipping chores, reading a book for an hour...just about anything can be a reward but they really are important.
