It's 10:15pm and I'm just fine now :) Still a little emotional and protecting my quit at all costs! I pretty much locked myself in the house today. Lady was kind enough to breath and pray with me today on yahoo IM. I cried and prayed alot today and again my prayers are being answered :) Thanks so much to everybody for popping in and encouraging me! I'm really surprised that I would have such a strong craving like I did :O It was so scary! I was eatting ice cream and all the sudden it my heart started beating super fast and I got light headed and wanted a cig REALLY BAD! I could barely catch my breath for a couple min's. My hearts beatting fast now just thinking about it. Anyhow...that's over and done with. I'm sharing what happened incase it happens to any of you. I haven't had a really strong craving like that since I 1st quit, over a yr now. I think it was probably out of the norm of quitters but then I really don't know? I do however believe that since I made it through so can u :) I can still feel the junkie lurking but "she" might as well go back underground where she belongs! Thank you everybody! ltns hummy, been missing u! Congrats Luna on coming up on your 1 whole yr mark! WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! No matter what don't lite up... Keep on keepin on... Cherie

Hi everybody! Wow, tks for checking up on me today :) Last night after I ate almost a whole large pizza I went to the gym around 11pm and went swimming :) Today I had to be responsible and take care of some stuff. Now it's after midnight and maybe I'll go to bed lol. The quote for today really hit home for me cuz it's what happened to me this past week! "Confidence doesn't come out of nowhere. It's a result of something... hours and days and weeks and years of constant work and dedication." - Roger Staubach I don't think I could get a stronger craving than I had the other night. Gotta hold on tight when that happens and make it through however we can! It's amazing what hanging in there for 24hrs will do 4u :) Talk about a confidence builder,,,woohooooooo!!! Thanks to everyone :) Gr8 to see my quit buddy popped in too! No matter what don't lite up... Keep on keepin on... Cherie

Good grief Joyful! I havent been on because my son was in the hospital (is now okay), and I come back on site and almost faint. You and your enthusiasm have been a huge part of my quit. You may not smoke. That girl you saw going to the 7-11 was some poor soul who hasnt figured it out yet. It sure wasnt you! Glad to hear youre better. :) Lots of hugs, Hummy My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/5/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 343 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 13,752 Amount Saved: $2229.5 Life Gained: Days: 44 Hrs: 14 Mins: 3 Seconds: 15
