Second Week!

Pretty nice, eh? Two weeks, not bad for a dude who has been smoking for the past 10 years. So how do I feel? Really refreshed, endurance has gone up. I walk a lot, to and from school, all day in between that, after school as well. Basically where ever I go, I walk, always has done, still do and always will be doing (well I may consider biking). I'm not short of breath anymore, as I have previously been. You know, not smoking motivates me, motivates me to do stuff, other than all the usual things. Got one question though...When will I be able to see a noticeable change in the colour of my teeth, if I merely brush them and not use any of those whitening products? That's one of the things i look forward to the most, getting white teeth...don't know why...it looks good, it looks...healthy, you know? Oh I better stop here before I turn this into a rant. But anyway...yay two weeks!!! ^^ My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/4/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 14 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 219 Amount Saved: $28 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 7 Mins: 53 Seconds: 28

Hi Gumphfy, You have a great attitude and a great start to your quit. Congrat's on 14 days. My first 14 days was spent in bed. Walking everywhere is such a great thing. I started doing that after my first month and now i'm up to 5 miles every other day. On your teeth....go to your dentist and get a good cleaning and sparkle walking home. Just remember to keep that great big smile going and show everyone your purly whites and if someone ask you why you are smiling so big you can tell them of your great 14t days.
