Iwin posted this to you yesterday. It's worth reading again.
Believe me everyone that has relasped wishes they had not. Only you can decide what to do. Maybe this will help you decide what to do. I can guarantee you that if you start to smoke again, you will also get to a point where you will want to quit again. Then you have to start all over. So the moral of the story is: you might as well just stay quit now, because that is alot less stressful in the long run. Try to hang on, I promise it will get better. The craves lessen, and even though you may still have one way into your quit, It will be a lot less then the craves we had everytime we had to have a cigarette when we smoked. I would have 20 craves a day then. Now it is only a few times a day if I have any at all.
Rusty

Struggling, Great job on 8 DAYS! Tomorrow will be 9, then 10 and two weeks will be here before you know it. It's time to shake up the strategy a bit. Rent a movie (or a dozen), get some chicken soup, some herbal tea, get your favorite slippers and spoil yourself. Let your body recover and let this be your first cold WITHOUT cigarettes! Hopefully you rewarded yourself for your first week's accomplishment. If not, you could shop online for a fantastic gift worth about $50 since you have saved that much already. Also, you have NOT smoked 211 cigarettes which is OVER a carton. Amazing. Also, I propose a new screen name. Having everyone call you Struggling and identifying yourself that way can't help. How about: Struggles No More Struggled No Struggle Me, Struggle? Overcame Ex-Smoker Ok, that was too much but you get the idea. And actually once you make it through this you will be creating positive reinforcement because you can always look back and remember how hard Day 8 was...but you made it through. ;) Be Blessed Sandra My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/5/2004 Smoke-Free Days: 613 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 12,276 Amount Saved: $2758.5 Life Gained: Days: 45 Hrs: 10 Mins: 29 Seconds: 56

Struggling, 8 days is great! Congrats :) Your body is ridding itself of the toxins and you will feel better in time. Keep up the great planning and determination. Keep Strong, Josie ______________________ The SSC Support Team.
