Hi there! I am glad that you decided to quit. It was an awesome decision. Be prepared...buy candies, drink water, exercise, read a book, take a bath, just don't smoke!!! This is a horrible addiction. You seen that after nineteen years smokefree all it took was one puff to get you started again. We are nicotine addicts. An alcoholic cannot take just one drink and a nicotine addict cannot take just one puff. Live by the n.o.p.e rule, Not One Puff Ever!!! That is the only way to be successful. This site is amazing. It offers great support plus the opportunity to gain knowledge about your addiction. You have to take this one day at a time. Come her and post or just read the other posts. You will see that everything you are feeling is normal, and that the majority of us have felt it at one time or another! Keep your head up high and stay strong. You can beat this....we are all beating this one day at a time. Remember: No smoke, No Choke, No Croak!!! Hi Daff_o_dills, I'm glad you're still hangin' in there. I'm so sorry for the loss of your husband. I can't imagine life without mine. You certainly have got yourself stocked up on the lozenges!!LOL. It's always good to be prepared. I'll tell you that "bumping" is when you take a post that is further done the list and reply to it to bring it back up to the top. This is also how you bring up older posts for newer members. As to your I.M. question, I'm not really sure why more members don't use it regularily. I only ever used it once myself. This way is better for me as I like to see what everyone has to say. This rose is telling this daffodill to Stay Strong.
