I really did not want to quit deep down inside. But I agreed to try when my husband decided he wanted to quit, thought that it would be easier for him if I was not smoking around him. Just figured I would play the game and wait till he gave in. It was not as easy for me as it was for him I cried the first 3 weeks at least once a day I picked small fights with him hoping he would just give in but he never did. I told him I dont think I will ever be happy without cigs in my life, he said just keep trying give it 6 months and if you feel the same go back to smoking I will love you anyway. Guess what? I grew into my quit and loving everyday of it!!!!!!!! Hang in there you will learn to love it also. Hubby and I are at 9 months and agree it was the best thing we could of done for ourselves :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/31/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 283 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,671 Amount Saved: $1273.5 Life Gained: Days: 29 Hrs: 4 Mins: 2 Seconds: 20
