HealthyLife, I really envy You for going cold turkey, Its hard enough using medication, But You know, I learned almost from day One of my quit, that If You give up like cigerettes or the habit of having them, Find another Habit to replace them, Only, not as addictive, Like really taking up excercising daily, Maybe dieting on good healthy foods, Take up rock climbing, Join the Y,W,C,A,
You think the way You feel now, or the last 2 or 3 days is going to be hell for Ya, NO Friend, Every week gets better and better for You, Yes, You do take one day at a time, But this is really short term, Your biggest weapon in defeating this addiction, Is to stay as close to this website as You possibly can, in the next 2 to 3 months, for that is the most criticial, Make Friends, Talk on here daily to people on how You feel, I guarantee You, Your not the only one in the boat, There are Other People right along beside You, wanting the same results as You are, You have heard the saying, We are stronger in Number's, That's very true on this website, Don't expect outside Help, For Your Help is right here Friend, I speak from experience,
I know You feel helpless about not be able to smoke or having something in You hands, Myself, I cut a large milk shake straw in half, and keep it with me at all times, and when that urge hits You, grab that straw and take some deep breaths off of it a few minutes, that urge will leave You, what is the harm, You are drawing oxygen through a straw,, Don't give up Friend, You can do this, Smokless In Oklahoma :)
