Can you spend too much time at SSC?

Ok, here's my take on this... How much time did u spend smoking? Do whatever it takes to quit smoking and spend as much time as u need doing whatever it is that helps to keep u from smoking :) How many yrs did u smoke? How much time did u spend smoking and how much time would u be taking if u were still smoking. How much time till we die? I'm just saying that addiction is all about "all or nothing". Balance WILL COME "in time". U do whatever u have to do for now to stay smoke-free. I spent the 1st 3mos. of my quit glued to this site. I come and go now as needed. Even if I don't feel I need help I come in to support others. Part of the reason is selfish (I admit), I also do it to maintain my quit b/c in helping others I'm helping myself. If not for the people on this site helping me, I don't think I would have made it this far. It's a good feeling to give back and help others :) No matter what don't lite up... Keep on keepin on... Shelly, First - GREAT JOB because 10 Days is a big deal! It's true everybody's quit is different but I don't think too much time here is a bad thing. That levels off. My first few weeks it was hard to think about anything else other than quitting so it was nice to see other people who knew what I was going through. Also, friends and family can lose interest but you know it is ALWAYS the topic of conversation around here! Hey Shelly, I say myself, If being on this website makes You kick this addiction, Then Friend, its worth being on here Everyday, don't You agree, In my quit on this site, it was nothing to wake up 3 or 4 a,m, in the morning, to reply to someone, or write a topic, The most criticial time in Your quit is the first 2 to 3 months, an then You should be seeing that light at the end of that tunnel, and start saying to Yourself, ''I DID IT,''' ''I DID IT,''' For that is just the way I felt, If something works my Friend, You stay with it, You don't change courses, So don't have a guilt feeling about being on here too much, If I wasn't retired from this site, I would come on daily and talk at Ya, Take care, This is Your journey, Smokless In Oklahoma :)

Shelley, The support group is always here for support. We encourage you to post, but most of all to read. The knowledge here is based on individuals that have been where you are and this is what you need. Take the time to read through the program and prepare yourself. We are always here for you! Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
