Hi Ally. You can do this. You have the desire, all you need are the tools and lots of support from everyone here. Quitting is tough, but living life as a smoker who wants to quit but can't or won't is tougher. The physical addiction ends after 3 days off Nicotine. After that, it is all mental. Take one day at a time. Post little notes to yourself all over your house and car. My favorites were N.O.P.E. (not one puff ever) and "Today, I choose life over addiction". Do this for yourself, because you love yourself. Stay true to yourself. After the first 3 weeks have passed, you will start to feel as though you are having more good days than bad days. Before you know it, you will be celebrating some very big milestones, with the best ones being improved health and a longer life. The money saved is just icing on the cake really. Good luck to you. Stay close and post whenever you need help or a hug!
