I promise to ask for help more often if I need it.
That right there is the key! I was so close to caving a few weeks ago! I was in a horrible slump and I just wanted to hide behind a cigarette for a while... I even emailed someone and told them that I was done. I mean, I was THAT close... but I'd made a promise to post before giving up and honestly, I didn't think that posting would do any good... I mean, I'd already made up my mind to do it... but somehow, posting it really made the difference and I was able to save my quit... and you can too. Just remember to come here first. We will always support and encourage you as much as we can. Never be afraid to come and post... that's what we're here for, and there's almost always SOMEBODY here to talk. So post away! Congrats on getting back up! Crave the Quit! hi gal, I'm glad to see you back in here so quickly. You're right to be proud of the 2 months under you belt! Please go back through the program at the left here. Read through all that material in your glovebox. This will help reinforce the reasons for your quit. Also, spend some time reading in here.... concentrate on the "Avoiding relapse and slipping" forum. There is alot of valuable insight there. Use your slip as an opportunity to learn more about yourself. Identify what caused your stumble (even it was just apathy). Then find a way to get you through it if it happens again. Hang on tight! We CAN do this! ~lbugg~ PS...Your hubby said a wonderful truth! Give him a hug! ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/17/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 400 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 21,224 Amount Saved: $2640 Life Gained: Days: 39 Hrs: 0 Mins: 9 Seconds: 57
