Hello My Family, I haven't been able to post sooner due to bad weather. Storms are terrible and it's funny because that's how I feel inside. Hey by the way if I misspell words sorry I don't double check. I appreciate the replies to my "Help" post. Saw someone post today about "sorry went back" and could not even read it. By no means putting the person down it's just too difficult right now and afraid I will light up. Just give me a reason right now is how I feel and I hate it! I thought everyone would be leaving the campground lol not the smokers they are still here. (My neighbors) As I informed them (these are different ones) that I am a non smoker I again was told that anytime I want one just come on bye. I pay attention to when people that smoke, I mean how they sound, how they breath or should I say how they cough or how they wheeze. I hate these people I don't care I mean it. I would never offer a drunk a drink or a drug addict a pain pill OK!! You all said I can vent and thank you I am venting. I would of killed for a cig and still feel this way. I honestly don't know if I am going to make it. Right now taking one second at a time. In my mind I think of all of you non smokers holding hands and I think in my head how many there are of you. I then think in my head that prayers are being said that I don't smoke. Do you think I'm weird? What can I say whatever works right? I miss smoking but I then think to myself most non smokers miss it right? Saturday night at the campground they had a band play I drove my golf cart. Don't use the walker so self conscious and a faster get away! lol So many smokers--I don't know if I was going through withdraw yesterday or what. I know I was driving my husband crazy but it upsets me at times when he drinks. I was feeling like something was being taken away from me. I don't know. This all is new to me, I don't want to give you the impression that I have a bad marriage, I have a good one. It's hard times now due to the changes I am making in my life. Another thing I noticed is that for me not smoking can turn me into a royal witch or what rhymes with that--get it? Today, is another day, another fight. I was even thinking/talking yesterday to my husband telling him it would be easier to do my quit when camping is over and

Ok, It's 30 some days. I've been through so many situations and made it. Now, i can't get the monkey off my back. I want to smoke so bad. I am miserable. I'm sad, I'm mad, I'm aggravated, I hate everyone right now and didn't even want to come to post because I'm hating everything. My husband came out to spend the day at the campground and I'm treating him like crap because I want to smoke. I told him it's not easy seeing everyone around me smoke. He's drinking his beers and having a good time and I don't drink. Since I've stopped smoking my stomach is in knots and I feel like my ulcer is back. Dealing with lots of stress from the arson as all last Wed.,Thurs,& Friday been fighting with insurance company, mortgage company and contractors. I can't take it!! Hubby is being a bit of a jerk and it's making me even more angry. He has his outlet, his beer, and mine is ?????? I don't know if this is making sense to you guys you've helped me so much before. i DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT'S GOING ON WITH ME--HONEST I DON'T. I can't get it out of my mind... Here's one sad disappointed, angry, aggravated, and feel like I'm letting myself down and others.. Oh hell I don't know what's wrong with me. babs My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/26/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 33 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,013 Amount Saved: $173.25 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 22 Mins: 35 Seconds: 59

Don't be so hard on yourself Babs... and yes, it all makes sense... of course. You are going thru hell right now and you have done the right thing to write, we are all in this together. I'm at 60 some days free now, and it's much better, keep going, please... you will be so proud of yourself, think about it... Maybe if you look at yourself smoke free, how well you have done so far... and tell youlself... that all this crap going around you won't beat you... you are stonger than that short moment of hardtime. Being smoke free if for the rest of your life... this stress of your house right now will go away... eventually all this will be settled, maybe you can't see the light right now... but it will settle. And, the beauty of it is you will be smoke free. You will be the winner and your husband will still be drinking his beer, you can walk around proud, square shoulders, head up high... you have to visualize... everyone around you will think of you as a hero. Your ulcer will be gone and you will be able to party again. As I said, I'm only 60 some days and I've been able to drink a few last weekend and I was fine, just be stubborn... good luck :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/1/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 69 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 693 Amount Saved: $276 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 3 Mins: 10 Seconds: 56

Hi Babs, I read what you wrote and I am truley with you. Please hang in there you will get through this and when you do you will look back upon this time and realize how strong you have become. I dont want to be out of line Babs, but my mother-n-law died from smoking and its not fun to watch someone die from smoking. It is very hard and painful. She used to tell me that she did this to herself and if I can save myself and quit dont be like her. As we all know that is truly the end result if we choose to give in. I know myself that I choose not to die like that. Please dont give in you can do this right now your mind is playing tricks on you making you feel week but you have to find that other part that is that winner inside you and overcome this bump in the road and you will be thankfull you did. Keep strong! U CAN DO IT.
