Hey chicken,
Do you remember saying this:
I decided Saturday night at 2am that I was just tired of smoking. I told my husband I was done and I haven't picked up a cigarette. This is the first time I have attempted to quit because I wanted to. I don't feel that cigarettes should have that much control over my life. I still go back to the smoke room with my husband when he smokes and really it doesn't bother me. I have started the 14mg patches rather than the 21mg and they seem to be working perfectly. I feel like this is easy...could it be the worst is yet to come?

or this:
I like the fact I quit smoking and I want to keep it that way.
Don't you find it somewhat sad that you consider smoking a "treat" and cigarettes your "friends"!!?? That tobacco has such a hold on you that you feel "obsessed" with cigarettes?
Most of us here have been through the stage where we "miss" cigarettes, and we feel like something is missing from our lives, it's a part of quitting that we just have to get through. And you CAN get through it.
Cigarettes are NOT your friends. Joe Camel is not anyone's friend. He blackens your lungs and the lungs of those around you, entices young teenagers to become hooked on nicotine, his only real friends are lung-disease, heart-disease, cancer, the government, emphysema etc.
You can do it, we can help, but you have to read a LOT and try to understand the truth about smoking.
As one of the Great Ones says "Knowledge is Power".
