18 years ago 0 64 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Bucko, You are just in time to save your life. I have two older sisters 68 and 65 who smoke at least two packs a day. They swear they cannot quit. I would love to see them come to this website and stop smoking. You are here. Welcome. HESY BUCKO!! There you go!! I forgot to mention last week when I first posted to you that the "Too Old To Quit" excuse has been taken. So you can't use it. Besides!! It is one of the weakest ones in the arsenal!! Good job on your quit....you can do it! My father quit when he was 62 and lived to be 95..... :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/17/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 122 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,683 Amount Saved: $793 Life Gained: Days: 17 Hrs: 1 Mins: 58 Seconds: 46

Hi Bucko- I am 57, about to be 58. When I had trouble breathing, I went on smoking....then went for a checkup and got some bad news. So!! You are NOT too old. Specialist have me high marks, with no criticism for quitting smoking, and condition has improved, but is permanent. Stick around, and we oldies will be right by your side, Bucko!!! Bucko, You're never too old to quit! In fact, you're younger than quite a few of our members. We have several in their 70s, so take heart in the fact that you can quit at any age. Congratulations on your decision to quit and welcome to the site. Crave the Quit!
