Hey smoky !! May have to change that name soon !!lol Won't want to be called anything about smoking anymore ! YOu are like me, I smoked for ever and have tried to quit quite a few times too. I have been more succesful with the aid of this site than any other time. I have also found it easier than ever before. Get ready.. get your candies and sunflower seeds and cranberry juice/tea to flush your system faster. I like the cranberry-grape juice.. and it does great things for cleansing your body too ! Pamper yourself for the first few days especially.. they will be the hardest.. rest, sleep, eat well, watch TV, you are going into rehab on Monday.. don't forget that.. Are you going cold turkey or using something to help ?? I went cold turkey for the psychological effect I think. I knew that the nicotine was going away and would be gone in 3-4 days. Then I knew I was clean and didn't want to return to it. Some people prefer the stepping down of patches or lozenges or gum. Also, counseling is awesome if you can arrange it.. your psyche has so much effect on your physics.. Welcome !! see you Monday !! Smoky, Welcome to our support community and please take a look around. Preparation is the key to a successful quit and you can do this. Take the time to look at the program and its tools. They can be very beneficial to your quit. The individuals here are very supportive and knowledgeable. Post often and let us know how we can help. Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
