6-12 CLUB III

Thank you Lady. Well, I might sneak one guy into my bag. The VIP club is for old folks, and who knows if they realize my appreciation for abs. I am ready for a WILD WILD party. The next place sounds oh so wonderful, but maybe a little subdued for someone like me - 58 going to 37. I have reduced the major areas of denial in my life (smoking and age) from two to one. I plan on keeping the latter alive and well for many years to come. Ooh ooh Lady. Have you gone to bed? I just got home from the city and saw your message. Have my 94 year old Mom here for three days so I may not be on much. You are 18 days away from the big 3 0 0. No time for downward spirals, but you know what often happens around these milestones. (gee is that all there is?) Keep your spirits up, stay strong in your quit. And start decorating for my party! That will keep you busy! Hummy - I will still come back for awhile to help decorate so don't you worry! But think I will sit back on decorating for this one. I think a Mexican/Central American theme sounds great, but not red, green and white please (the colors of the Mexican flag). I prefer shocking pink fuschia, bright orange, garish purple and electric lime green. Let's have NOTHING subtle!! I am ready to rock!!! you are right - it is an ongoing process. As I approach one year, I realize that I may never be out of the woods, no matter how strong I feel in my quit. My trip was wonderful. Surprisingly, there were some smoking triggers. I smoked like a chimney last year in Guatemala in anticipation of my quit....so there were lots of places I remembered as paired with smoking. Plus with eating out every night,,,,there were lots of memories. Regardless, I didn't succumb. No way I am ever going through the misery of withdrawal again! T'was nice to be above 5000 feet and not short of breath. T'was nice to spend a month speaking Spanish. Re-entry is hard, but I am slowly adjusting. Thanx for the warm welcome home. Someone must have been offended by my male dancers celebrating N2K's 6 months, so I posted this grass skirted dancer for the luau that Hummy suggested. Whatever the entertainment, a great big congratulations is due N2K for making it to six months. Oh & one more thing,,,Ms. Lady,,,stop making people cry LOL! Naaaaaaa seriously just wanted to thank Lady again for helping me yesterday! I don't think you really realize how much you helped me. And yes, I prayed and thanked GOD for putting you in my life. Actually I've thanked him for this site and putting all of you into my life. I was feeling so much better I actually went swimming at 11pm last night. And while in the shower after my swim was chatting with another lady who was also in the shower down the way lol,,,and it turned out that she knew a friend of mine from when I was in the army in Germany back in 1990 and is going to put us back in touch. GOD works in mysterious ways! Just think if Lady wouldn't have been there to help or for whatever reason if things would have went another way and I didn't end up going to the gym, didn't meet that lady? There's probably some reason why I'm suppose to get back in touch with my old friend. I've thought of her often so this should be interesting :) No matter what don't lite up... Keep on keepin on... Cherie
