I had a bit of a slip, more than just a few puffs. I am back on the wagon and have reset my Quit Meter. My apologies to the rest of the Smobers. Also, congratulations to all, who have managed to stay on the wagon. I am a bit sad about this, but I know it will be okay. Hell week again! Now that's something to look forward to- NOT! See you around

Thanks Riverdale Man, Yes, for whatever reason, posting often helps. Lady, I did go to bed shortly after typing last night. I still have a freakin' headache, but that's okay. Pam, good thread, with funny parts. Thank you for sharing. Colleen, I am touched. I feel you. Yes, this is quite a nasty addiction. Last night, when I saw my son, he told me that I smelled good again and gave me a hug. I didn't tell him it was b/c I stopped smoking again, the less he knows the better. It did touch me, though. Rusty, it says in the program that most smokers quit up to seven times b/4 catching on, but with the proper tools, you can quit on the first time. I think this will be either my second or third serious attempt. I hate the mornings, that's when I truly crave. I don't feel quite awake in the mornings- not that this is anything new. I know the feeling will go away, eventually. OOF, anybody who would reject you, criticize you, or not take any of your posts seriously is someone who never tried to quit more than once. In my life I had a number of long term quits...the longest was a year. The happy news is that we are all a lot smarter now. We all have a lot more support now. And even though you stopped your quit for a little while, I'll bet you are healthier than before your quit. So chin up, shoulders back, march forward! Rusty :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/13/2004 Smoke-Free Days: 512 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 14,347 Amount Saved: $1792 Life Gained: Days: 70 Hrs: 11 Mins: 39 Seconds: 17
