Gosh I'm glad I quit! I know that there will be hard times ahead, but now that I made it to 30 days, there is no stopping me. This weekend I am running a 5k to celebrate my getting healthy and quitting smoking. The fact that I am running a race cements that I am getting healthy and have new healthy lifestyle. I would have never signed up for a race as a smoker. Congrats to all the other February quitters/Knights as well! We did it and we'll keep doing it!

Just to let you all know...I just finished my 5k this morning! It was a beautiful sunny day (rare in Seattle) and I felt blessed to be there and to be running with all the "healthy" people. There was about 12,000 people that ran and it was just a perfect day for a race. I ran it in 30min and 11sec which isn't too bad for an ex-smoker :-)! Thanks for all the support guys!
