253 days as of today, still a challenge

Strange that even after 253 days, I still have cravings, this morning was one of those. I also still use the Nicotine Lozenges, but only 4 or 5 a day, all before 2 PM. Mornings seems to be the time for my cravings. Once I have gone a year, I will start to figure out how to eliminate the lozenges. In the meantime, over 5,000 cigarettes not smoked. I have a friend that has been trying to quit since the new year, several lapses. I tell him to focus on the cigarettes he has not smoked, rather than the lapses. If you buy a pack, and smoke 3, through the rest away, you are burning your money anyway. FlaJoe, just my opinion and others may disagree, but...you are having cravings because you are still using nicotine. So your body is going through withdrawals every half hour or so. Then you use the lozenge and it relieves the craving. But then the "hit" wears off, and you crave again. You will continue this cycle until you get off the nicotine for good.
