Hi, Caleb. Congratulations on your 2 days quit (fantastic accomplishment) and welcome to the SSC.
If you haven't already, I strongly suggest you work through the Online Quit Program here. There's a ton of good information and tips there.
Two things really helped me: looking ahead and my "strawerette".
As you go along, look ahead by a minute, or so, ahead to see if you're approaching a time you would have lit up. When you see one coming, assume a crave will hit and be ready for it. My experience was anticipated craves were always weak, if they happened at all.
The strawerette was a straw about the size of a cig, cut to cig length. Fold and crimp (bite) the "fire" end until it draws like a cig. I kept mine in my shirt pocket so grabbing it was much like grabbing a cig. Made a great prosthetic.
Stay close to the site, Caleb. Read, post, repeat. You can come here to vent, scream, cry, laugh, babble incoherently, what ever it takes to get through. Don't worry about us, we've seen it all. :)
You've made a great decision for your life, Caleb. Keep us posted and let us know how we can help.
Shevie
